Board Certified Neurotherapist
I have been a nurse for 20 years. I graduated from Tennessee Technological University with Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I worked as a nurse in children's hospitals the first 10 years of my career. My primary area of practice was pediatric oncology. In 2004, I completed my Masters of Science in Nursing and became a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. My experience as an advanced practice nurse spans education to inpatient mental health, urgent, and primary care. Over the last several years I worked in pediatric primary. A significant portion of my time was spent discussing developmental, educational, and behavioral concerns with parents and children. I have a passion for helping children maximize their potential during their formative years.
I have personal experience with neurofeedback training related to my own struggle following traumatic childhood events. I credit neurofeedback with improving my ability to self regulate, build habits, and improving my relationships and overall quality of life.
In 2015 I had the opportunity to bring neurofeedback to the Chattanooga community. I began my didactic training, completing my board certification in neurofeedback. I am now providing neurofeedback to adults and children to improve their health by improving their ability to manage stress.
